RE: Roost ?
From what I have experienced in my area, there are always birds in the same group of trees, but they aren't usually in the same exact tree. What I would do is go out and scout a week or two before the spring season or whenever you are going out and locate where they are roosting. Then, setup near that tree. Try to get within a hundred yards, but be absolutely sure not to spook them off of the roost. A friend and I were able to get within about 40 yards of this one gobbler...se could have shot him out of the tree (we didn't). Just get out there long before the sun comes up!
