Try reading the thread.........I did. I told him where to find all the information he needs to learn (HINT: It's all right here) and second of all that deer is long gone........he's never gonna find it. I am more concerned with preventing him from doing it again.

I didn't critique him on wanting to find his first buck. If he had known what to do BEFORE heading into the woods he may have that buck right now. Everyone wants to find their buck..........that is irrelavent. Having the brain and willpower to do the right thing in the woods is VERY relavent.
