depends, your draw length could very well possibly be to long. I started with a 29" browning, then found it was too long, dropped to a 28" PSE then finally got my wits about and found it still didn't feel "just" right for me. So now i found the perfect size and it's a Mattews26.5" drawlength with a d-loop on it coming to approx. 27" orso. It feels wonderful, i'm 5'8" and weigh 160lbs, but i think my arms are shorter than most... just my two cents... do it the right way, go to a pro shop and have them check your draw length, then test some out and see what lengthsbest for ya.
