Default Realtree Roadtrips....

I have DirectTv with almost every add-on sports package you can find... which means my Tivo unit tapes a ton of hunting shows for me. RealTree Roadtrips with Michael Waddell is by far my favorite show. His shows consist of almost 100% hunting coverage and his sense of humor is wonderful.

I watched the "illinois - Pike Country hunt" today for about the 5th time.... I still laugh as he's out trying to fill a doe tag (after taking a nice buck the day before) with his re-curve. He misses a doe.. then has to watch a bigger buck than what he shot walk up to within 5 yards of him (He's one of the few I see consistently use the snort-wheeze to bring bucks ins) and he's saying to himself "I don't have a tag, I don't have tag"... it's hilarious.

The pure enthusiasm he brings to the show plus his sense of humor and downright good-natured approach is great. I loved his Africa show where he wakes up from a nap and there is a giraffe outside his blind.

I used to be a big "North American Whitetail" fan but they simply don't show enough hunting footage for me.. as is the problem with most other shows. For example, I watched one of their shows a few weeks ago where the entire lead up to the kill was like 30 seconds to 1 minute.... I'm sorry, but that doesn't do it for me.

Michael - keep having fun with your show and keep up the good work!
