I bought a Superslam this year and I have really liked it so far. It's not quite as fancy as the top of the line Hoyts but it's still a great bow. I haven't shot the Timberwolf but i've heard good things about it as well. Both represent great value for your money.
You also may want to check out the Reflex Highlander. Everyone I know who has shot it says it's a great bow, and it costs less than both the superslam and the timberwolf.
