I also get right at 3000fps using a 175 Rem CL and 7828, makes a great elk load.
It sure does! The last elk I shot with a 175-grain Nosler Partition from the 7mm Rem. Mag. hit the ground so fast he bounced! Of course, he was only about 40 yards away.....
