Finally got another two buck bow harvest. Three does this year and two bucks calls it quits for me. I have nothing left to accomplish this year except goose season now.

I arrowed this old fella at a little after 630 am this morning. He had his head down and was following a main trail. He came in downwind and never looked up. The shot was 17.5 yards but I can not believe how far back I hit him. The arrow was a clean pass thru and was in the ground 45 degree style. No guts spilled just liver and maybe lungs. He went about 40 yards and crashed. He was the second big buck I had go past today. The first was 50 yards out and cruising from the same direction north to south. No word yet what he weighed but his teeth were onthe downside of worn. I would say 5 1/2 years plus.

Nice ten point with a bow! I love this sport.
