mauser is right I have done it and they turn very white just like when they sit in the sun for years. If you leave then in strong bleach for a long time they will start to break down starting at the skull. I have heard of people trying to stain them after using bleach. Bleach works well to get the last bits of meat off the skull when you are doing a texas or european mount! my 2 cents.. peace
