Default RE: SCENT-LOK VS SCENTBLOCKER

Here's my approach. I'm all but done hunting this year and I never washed the stuff, only put it in the dryer when I thought it needed it. Nothing all season, hunting in different conditions and places every busted me while wearing it. Had deer feed very close to me for an hour and never once became alarmed, eye level even. Had three deer feeding under me at very last light. Removed my head covering and instantly they looked up.

Do I think it works? Yes. What does this test do for me? Plenty. It shows me it works and it takes a product that is supposed to be replace every 4-5 years (recommended 4-5 washings a year for a total of 20, the life of the garment) and if I wash it once a year I'll get 20 years. You do the math. I don't wear my scent lok unless I'm hunting and that means removing it when I get to the downed animal and packing it out. If nothing is killed, I'll keep it on till I'm out of the woods.

To tell the truth I don't care for the camo pattern. I also think movement plays a huge role in being busted.

I think the scent lok guy at AT deleted a post I made with these results. If he did I'll be buying the blocker from now on. I think they are the same, but I haven't tested them. I do wear their gloves.
