I am in the same boat with you guys on this. I cant stand to hear most hunters talk about there hunt . Something like this " I got my 30-30 out and shot it 5 times before season that is usally all it takes to get me sighted in , I dont know why I missed , or made a bad hit". I just want to start swinging, It makes no sense to me.It is a privaledge to get to hunt not a right and that can be taken away at any time. I guess I just have alot of respect for whitetail deer they are great animals to hunt , My son is handicapped and in a wheelchair so deer hunting is a challenge for him but we make the best of it. He wont shoot cause he is not comfortable shooting at a live deer. He has alot of fun just sitting with dad and watching me go nuts when big boy steps out. I wish more people was like that. I have a niece that loves to deer hunt but only shoots at live deer !!!! this is the third year in arow wounding a deer that got away[:@][:@]
She never comes down a shoots at all, I cant even talk her into shooting a .22lr. Maybe we need to add hunting ethics to there hunting certifcation.
