A full grown Bobcat can take down any deer. Don't corner one or you might find out the hard way.
I don't know about that. IMO, I'd say that full grown deer aren't very high on a bobcats list of prey animals. Too much risk of serious injury to a cat that weighs 20 to 30 pounds. Not worth it. Even in the pictures, (which were very cool!) I'm betting that deer got away from the cat.
I'm not saying a bobcat isn't capable of taking down a deer. I just don't think it is a common occurance and when it does happen, I'm betting it's usually a case of the cat singling outthe young and/or weak.
