According to the Nikon rep they are the exact same scope.. except the Buckmaster has turrets that can be turned by hand w/o the need of a coin.. and has an adjustable eyepiece. But optically they are exactly the same.

I have the Nikon Prostaff 3-9 x 40 on my Omega and it works like a charm.
