Default Learning about Bowhunting

I am learning quite a bit about bowhunting. This is my third year and I have learned an immense amount about bowhunting and me as a bowhunter. One thing that I have learned this year is not to bowhunt from a rifle boxstand. Doing so has at least in part led me to take two bad shots, to miss and to lose a doe on opening weekend and a buck this past Sunday. I hunted from the boxstand as it is a permanent structure in a very good spot in pine, but just not conducive to good shooting form, freedom of movement and line of site to shoot. I have learned that from now on, put up and use a portable.
I truly love how bowhunting gives you a much more personal experience and much, much more difficult to harvest a deer. I believe that I am hooked and would pick bowhunting over rifle hunting any day of the year.
Anyone else learn/think along the same lines as I? Thanks.
