Default RE: Climbing Sticks

Hello all, I have used portable means of bowhunting all my life, and used just about all on the market. Up till year ago, my best thing was a Loc on Stand and a 12' stick ladder from cabela's (light, portable, and by design set off ground, so could get 15'). But I tell you this the Lone Wolf stick system is great, but little pricey. I find that the Gorilla sticks work great, and cheap price. I use three and can get 18' safely. Only two things I see about them migh need little work. One, the strap is bright grey, and actually till gets broke in gleams a little-solution olive drab spray pain on both sides and good to go. Two, the hook where the strap slides in stationary side, likes to slide out when you are up the tree and throwin it around the back side- solution wrap electrical or camo take under it to restrict it from sliding out. Also when setting them up, ensure to check loops where hooked to ensure they are all the way in. One morning hunt I set up hunted for most of the day went to leave and found I was barely, looped. They have some weight to them all together, cann't see why any hunter would need more than four for one stand. They have foot rungs on both sides, important if you have a bum knee. They back great, use some bungee's or strap and put them on stand and away you go.
