I've been deer hunting for a little over a year. I honestly bought a Mathews because a trusted friend suggested I do so. I've since shot the Trykon and the Bowtech.
Honest opinion.....the Trykon felt like it was going to jump out of my hands. The Bowtech is a sweet shooting bow.....but really no different than the '05 Switchback I'm shooting (as far as "feel"....which is important to me).
I've also owned Harleys. People don't buy a Harley-Davidson for the performance, though. That's a BAD analogy. That company has survived SOLELY on image.

Finially someone with some wits!
LOLthats just rediculous, seriously. If you dont like Hoyts thats cool but to saya Trykonfeels like it is going to jump out of your hand?? Ive never shotANY bow that felt like it was going to jump out of my hand, not even my 20 year old Browning Excelerator. You have just went up 10 notches in the knowledge department in your 1 year of deer hunting and TeeJay, well, your replyspeaks for itself.
