I have never owned a Hoyt bow that wanted to "jump out of my hands let alone the Trykon.
Good for you. I've only shot one Hoyt. That's what it felt like, to me, and I have NO special ties to the Mathews brand. If I liked the Hoyt better.....or ANY bow, for that matter, I'd go buy one. I'm just telling you my honest opinion.
Harleys have the image of course of being the most desired motorcycle in the world but they also have the dependablity and 103 years of working the bugs out of a Vtwin bike.
See there's your rub. Who said the V-twin was the model for which ALL bikes should be judged? The "Jap" bikes you reference (as well as one particular German model and several Asian types) run circles around the HD line if we're going to base our criteria on performance. Line up with one and test its' acceleration.....braking and handling against your HD's. Not a nice thought, huh?
I have NOTHING against HD's. I owned 2 (00' Fatboy and '01 FLHCRI Road King Classic). If I bought another bike.....it would be a HD. I wouldn't be buying it for performance, though.
Just my opinion.
