Default RE: is the 270 a elk whacker?

Personally at 400 yards I think the 270 is a little light but with a good rest & PREMIUM bullets kirkl is right put it in the boiler room=dead elk.Now on to some words of wisdom from BeaverCrack-"shot placement hooey","shot placement snot tastement",thats right BeaverLick just lay down a line of fire right?Speaking of educashun where did you git yours?Did someone write the word DIPLOMA on a piece of sh!tty toilet paper & hand it to you?I recon' ifn' they did your on honor graduate!Who in thier right mind doesn't agree with shot placement?Yea jes shoot at the animal if you hit it & can't find it go get another right?BeaverSweat, the ONLY thing you said that makes any sense is no one with out expierience should shoot out to 400 yards. The rest of yer statements about shot placement & a shot a bourbon to "calm the nerves "are just plain B.S.! As an ETHICAL hunter shot placement has every thing to do with bringing down an animal quickly & humanely! Save the bourban for after the hunt!Hey BeaverJerk go get a copy of HOOKED ON PHONICS & learn the English language!BeaverSmell,I would NOT want to be anywhere near you in the field with a loaded firearm, sounds to me like your a druken inbred that likes to shoot alot!
