Not a big report as the range was busy and the temps a little cool I fired three shots to get on zero with the Aetec scope then had the wife move the target to 100 Yards. I took one more shot to make a final adjustment then fired three shots which fell into a group just under one inch. Pretty typical for a 700 Rem with factory loads.

I was shooting Federal Premium cartridges with the 140 grain Nosler Ballistic tips. The box advertised 2800 FPS but from my 24 inch SPS they actually clocked 2740fps Average for five shots with a high shot of 2759 fps.

I have part of a box of Nosler Balistic tips that I plan to load tonight. After the season I will load some 120 TXS unless I get ambitious sooner. I had to shoot from my wheel chair today so I am sure the groups will improve with a little fine tuning by hand loading. I shot about 15 rounds or so. NO SORE SHOULDER.. that 7mm-08.
