I have a stand site here on my place thats a hillside head that gently goes down between a branch and a hollow. Last yr and this yr I disked it up and planted in rye and biologic. We've had some really hard rains this yr and I have seen that there was some erosion.
My plan now is to plant centi-seed or some other low growing ground hugging grass on it this spring and simply mow it and broadcast winter rye in the fall. The summers grass should hold the winter grass seed and keep it from washing off and also control the erosion.
