RE: Initiation into the Mathews Brotherhood?
I shoot the Mathews 'FX' but I have stayed with Easton 2213 and 100 gr field tips and Thunderheads. I have the NAP Quicktune 4000 Fall Away . . . and my sustem is a NAIL Driver.
Right now I am working on learning a new release method with my True Fire 'X-Caliper called 'Relax to Fire' [the release has it built into its design] and is a great system and it will avoid having to switch to the 'Back Tension' release to get the surprise release that is most desirable.
I do not plan to switch to carbons. I'm still not convinced they are worth the switch a faster arrow - YES - better ???? I have a friend in Lynnwood that had to spend a considerable effort to find carbon splinters in his deer.
