A northern Quebec caribou hunt can be an absoloute blast or it can be one of the most frustrating hunts going.

If the herd is there, you will have no problem, even taking both with a bow. However if the herd is not moving through the area, or worse has just moved through, you would be lucky to see ANY caribou.......hero or zero.

That being said, I was up there during the first week of October and took 2 with my bow.
