With being not sure of the part of Iowa you will be in I can give you a few spots. Chichaqua Marsh is a large area near Des Moines, Otter Creek is by Marshalltown, Ventura Marsh & Rice Lake by Clear Lake. There is also the Iowa Sportsmans Atlas which can be purchased at almost any Wal-mart store. It has maps for all Iowa public hunting, a great resource for an out of state hunter.
