Saw two with my Son chasing a deer that nearly ran us over. One of the wolves ran up to us. I pointed my .35 Rem at it's head at about 4' away and yelled at it and it lurned and left. Two years later I ran into a hunter who was about 70 yo who asked me if I'd ever seen the wolves in the area, we had a long talk re- this encounter. He told me that he'd seen them a couple times and belives they live in/around some ledges in the area.
