Do you mean 2 & 3/4" slugs? I do not have a .410, so don't know if they make 2 1/2" slugs for them, but my 870 12gage will take 2 3/4", 3" and 3 1/2" shells I have the supermag 870 with the 3 1/2" chamber, but have commonly used 2 3/4" slugs in it with little issue. The issue was not regarding firing or performance, but the extra room meant that quick rechambering was not always totally smooth, but sometimes "sloppy." Hope that helps.
