I won't mention how long it took me to get my first deer. I was hunting in a tough area and was learning by the school of hard-knocks and made so many stupid mistakes it wasn't even funny. Didn't have the Net then and my Dad knew about as much as I did. Taking up bowhunting made me a much better hunter, wish I had started back when I was a teen.
