Here in MD, we get 10 doe tags and can get 2 buck tags - the 2nd buck can't be taken until you take at least 2 does (those limits apply to EACH weapon -bow, ML and modern firearm). In the years where I shot my buck first, I couldn't buy a 2nd doe. However, when I get my 2 does out of the way first, bucks become scarce!

I never fill all my tags because I can't use that much meat and only have several people lined up to accept the others.
