I will admit I have never hunted turkey with a rifle, but Cabela's sells a model called Blue Ridge, they come in .32, .36, .45, and .50 caliber. They are also offered in flintlock if you really want to get to the basics. I would think any of them would do the job with a well placed round ball. You might have to do some test shooting to see what range you feel comfortable at. I think you are in for an exciting hunt. I personally use a old 12 guage double barrel, but rifles are not allowed here.. Good luck, and can't wait to see the results...
