Default RE: Turkey Gun

Great advice BT!My first turkey gun was a Winch 12 single shot and as a matter a fact it was my first shotgun given to me by my father.I cant think of maybe a handful of times I've needed more than one shot to end a turkey hunt in alot of years of pursuing ole longbeard.Your first shot is not only your best one but in most cases in this game is your last one!Even though I like the payload of my 10gauge shooting 3 1/2's and have all the confidence in the world in shooting any gobbler within 45 yards your exactly right,a good 3in. on paper and in the field can perform more than adequately in comparison.Tiger1,a big welcome here also!Check out Harrington & Richardson's website at hr1871.com This site has I believe exactly what you may be looking for!Hope it helps!Bob
