Don't buy the APP sticks! Lots of compalints on those. If using loose powder, it creates more pressures than pellets. I would not exceed 120 gr. loose in a well made ML that may allow it - for sure not in a entry-level ML. Those models should only see 100 grains (in my opinion). For instance -- Traditions allows 150 grains of loose - but that's crazy & potentially dangerous.

All I can say is if you want to roll that safety gambling dice -- go ahead. I own three Traditions& I never exceed 100 grains. But I will shoot 120 in my better made T/C Omega. It (manual)allows 150 loosewith a 400 grain bullet - but I would never go there. Right now, I use 80 gr. with a 435 bullet -- out to 150 yards.
