I have recently been getting the same message, what you need to do is right click on the picture, go to properties and change the file extension from .JPG to .jpg for some reason my camera and probably yours too saves pictures as ex: dc100.JPG it should be ex: dc100.jpg I dont know why it doesnt like the capital letters.
