I have a 670 carbine in a 30-06 and love the rifle, it shoots real well with the right load. Although I think 315.00 is plenty for it you are getting a scope with it. The last book I have lists it a 300.00 in 100% condition.

I dont think you would go wrong with it if you could get for a few bucks less. Let us know how you make out, and how it shoots if you end up with it.
