Good for you. I think you'll be much happier with the wolf. Start out with a 245 grain powerbelt and 90 grains pyrodex RS. That should be a deadly load. Once you work out to 100 yards, load it with 120 grains pyrodex RS and see if your shots moves up any. If its around 2" high a 100, that should be close to dead on at 150 yards.
