Default RE: scope for TC Omega?

I personally look for a scope with GOOD eye relief. I like 4" at least or in that area. I can not really comment on the higher end scopes because I refuse to put a high dollar scope on a muzzleloader. I shoot the open breech design rifles so your Omega is not in this class. The open breech tend to burn the bottoms of the scopes and fowl them real bad. I want a scope that five years down the road, should it fail, its not the end of the world.

I have a number of low end scopes but one of my favorite is a Nikon Pro Staff 2-7x32mm. I think the scope is around $119.00 but it is one tuff scope. I would put it with many of the more high dollar ones out there. I also have a Sightron 1 in 3-9x40 and it is an excellent scope without a doubt.

If I were going to spend a little more money on scopes I would look at the Nikons, Bushnells, Sightron, even the low end Leupold is around $179.00 . All these decisions... good luck with your set up. I am sure what ever you pick, that rifle will shoot well....

Also save some of that money and get Warne QD rings. I think all my rifles will someday wear them.
