winchester model 670 A

Hey guys I value you alls advice, you have never let me down yet. I have found this gun at a local gun shop and really like the feel and looks, but no history on the gun. Are they a shooter are not? This one is a 30-06 ,good bluing, wood stock has a few nicks in it here and there. Price $ 315 with an older busnell 3to 9 scope. Can you give me some advice.Many thanks.
