The Yukon having the shorter barrel would not be a problem as far as performance. As you know or read, most of the posts advocate not using magnum charges. 100 grains and a bullet will be more then enough medicine for the average Whitetail Deer. I would not get too concerned about it. If you shoot pellets, even the pellet manufacturer advises not more then two pellets.
