I have taken many with a rifle but this is my first buck with a bow. I have taken a few doe with a bow but it was nice to get the first buck under my belt. I shot him at 40 yards broadside and my arrow nicked a limb and nailed him in the neck. I thought it was a horrible shot. It turned out to be the best blood trail i have ever seen. Found him dead at 150 yards.
