Monec Lovers--Read This
For the past 3 seasons I've been shooting Montec 100's. I've got the G5 stone for 'em with the leather on the back. The other day I was wondering if I could get 'emeven sharper than what I've always been able to. The stone alone does good. The leather helps a bunch. But next time you go tosharpen your Montecs, after stroping them with the leather, wet it down. The leather, that is. Just hold it under the faucet for a second and rub the water into the leather. Shake the rest off and hone them onthe "damp" leathera few times. Trust me.
