Hi, I'm new to this forum, and have a question, I cleaned my .308 about a month ago, used copper cleaner and got it really clean, after I finished I checked the bore for any grit that may have been left over, there wasn't any, but when I got my .308 out today and checked it over for the upcoming deer season, I noticed a couple of particles or something about midway down the bore, I didn't think it was possible because I saw nothing in the bore when I put it up, whatcould these particles be? , should I be worried? Thanks.
The same thing has happened to me a few times. I freaked out because my gun is always in immaculate condition. I just ran a dry patch down the bore and it was gone. I think it was dust or a little dirt or something. After I did that the bore was totally perfect.
Yeah, I freak out pretty bad as well, lol, I think its just lint or something, so I'm not gonna mess with it, I know its not powder or copper. At least I'm not the only person who is obsessed with things like that.
