It's true. Most guys don't know or understand this. That's why they are so frustrated and bewildered when the "gobs of blood" turn to drops and then nothing. They'll lay down (where you usually see a "blood bed") to allow their bodies to tend to their wounds and once their "healed" they are up and gone.
