Little activity here in BC as of yet, seems like the mulies arent even rutting yet. Odd for this time of year. Was out scouting today and hammered a 'yote - needless to say the trapper whom I give my coyotes too may not be too happy with the hole the old .300 mag left in him. I call my .300 the anchor as it seems whenever I shoot an animal with it its like an anchor drops outta their backside when they hit the ground.

A hunting partner of mine lived across a lake from where he was taken - he used to glass them every morning/evening and says those big boys dont come outta the timber till this time of year. Apparently there are a couple still living in there that will bust the worlds record no problem. Biggest issue is accessibility, and the fact that its on a draw with odds of 1:700 - not overly likely.
