There we go.... Just kidding of course, ... but it doesn't really matter to me. I have the 6 mm Rem. and it’s just because I wanted something different, just like other cartridges I have. The .243 is a fine cartridge and does have the edge over the 6 mm as you stated for popularity. My 6 mm is more for a varmint rifle and not for deer hunting except I wouldn’t mind trying the TSX on deer. I would rather use a caliber with heavier bullets for deer, but that's just my preference.
