I helped a guy who just moved on to new land and the first day we walked the property we saw 5 dogs, running in a pack. They were mutts and not a one had a collar on. They were really rough looking and with his kids moving in in a week, we thought that we would check around and see if anyone else was having problems with these dogs. His neighbor said that these dogs have been roaming the area for months and causing trouble with pets and chickens. We went back with dog food and put piles around and killed all 5 dogs. I think if a dog runs by you in the woods you do not touch it, but if you talk to folks and they tell you that they think the dogs are "wild" and you look into it and then take them out I do not have a problem with that.
