Hillybilly,

“Better yet, your conscience”

You make it sound like hunting is a religion. Ok, let’s go with that. Hunting, like religion, has a multitude of believers and practitioners. In religion, people pray to God, to the Devil, to idols, to dogs, to cats, etc. Each religion has its own belief and customs. Essentially, they all have their own way of doing things (rules and guidelines-but none are exactly the same). So let’s go ahead and draw a line. Let’s establish the law! Let’s tell the Jews they cannot worship Yahweh. Let’s tell the Muslims that Mohammad is out. If you say the Holy Mary before breakfast, then you’re a pagan! Is this what you’re going for? Believe in my God or else! How are we going to enforce this new law? Oh, that’s easy! Just like eliminating the fences in hunting, we’ll eliminate the mosques, the pagan churches and the synagogues! You bet, let’s draw the line! Next week, shall we say hunters east of the Mississippi are slobs? Sounds pretty Sanctimonious to me!

No, I do not worship the Devil, but I tolerate those that do. When they knock on my door, I simply say “NO THANK YOU”!

I said “I think the market place has already demonstrated its ability to stop malignancy-W.H.A. case in Point”

You responded “Actually, According to your philosophy of hunt/let hunt, we should have really never spoken out against the WHA to begin with right?? After all, we shouldn’t judge the way others hunt, right?

My answer- right! In my opinion (my conscience) hunting should never become a contest. I believe I stated earlier that I have no desire to compete with anyone. In my opinion, I believe the use of bait is unethical. In my opinion, canned hunting is unethical. Are they malignancies? Yes, in my opinion. But, they may not be in the religion/hunting of others. I have never cast a vote (nor do I want to) to make anyone of these subjects illegal. I truly believe that we live in the land of the free and the brave. That we all have choices, and for having such, we all need to exercise tolerance. I cannot help but envision Hillybilly standing out on the porch while firing his rifle towards the sky (Similar to the image I was given by Saddam Hussein). Yes, the almighty dictator. Do it my way or I'll destroy you! Remind me not to vote for you buddy. Then again, maybe I won’t have a choice.

If you would, please sent me a photo where a gun is being held to your head and forcing you to participate.

Open your mind…hunt and let hunt!

Charlie,

You define it. It applies to your stlye of hunting.

But Let's go ahead and look at my style. Let's consider Afognak Island for example. Now, given numbers one and two listed above, and with bow in hand, off I go. Numbers four and five have been satisfied. If your have ever hunted with me, then you'll know that, for me, killing an elk is just a matter of time. Honestly, where can the elk go? They're on an island right? Take away numbers oneor two and we now have a new ball game.

A certain level of fair chase is relative to each one ofus individually. My abilities are not yours and yours are not mine.

JJ,

Please give Casey an "ATTA BOY" and slap your pastor on the back for me. However, forewarn them. Their style of hunting is on the way out! They'll need to, in the near future, learn to chase deer naked through the woods. Breakingthe deer's necks using only thier bare hands will be the only approved method of hunting. Right Hillybilly?

Oh no! We'll have to rewrite the record books!
