I bought a 5 pin and tried to take 2 off of it. It resulted in nothing but trouble. The fiber optics on this sight are VERY FRAGILE and very hard to get out (probably IN too) of the tube. A little crack in the length of the fiber and its done. This was a very bright sight (brightest i have seen), but mess with the roll of the fiber optics, in or out of the tube and they break TOO easliy. I junked mine because the good ones (3) broke while hunting. i would say dont do it and if you do GOOD LUCK and order at least 1 extra cause you will most likely break one.
