Is that a different scoring system? Im not real familiar w/ the B&C system for nontypicals, but how does that buck only have 10" of deductions? could some1 explain. I dont mean anything negative by this, im just wondering. Thats an incredible deer, congrats to the hunter for sure!
Scored asa base main frame.
Let say it is a 12 base
Score the deer as a 12 then take the deductions. Then you add up all the abnormal points and add to the score.
This is how you get a non-typical score
Typical Score you would deduct all the abmormal points.
Here is an example of the 16 I shot last week.
Non-typical Gorss 176
Non-typical Net 172
Typical P & Y gross 151 2/8(base main frame 10)
Typical P & Y Net 147 2/8(not minus abnormal points)
Abnormal Points 24 6/8
Typical P & Y Net 122 4/8
