i made minde years ago out of burlap potato sacks and craft oak leafs from a crafter store.

it works AWESOME. the smell never seemed to bother deer, but i did break it in during spring turkey season.

use RIT dye next time instead of spray paint. sheaper and lasts forever.

also, be prepared to replace strips of burlap annually. you always know where i hunt because of the burlap rag trail i leave on prickerbushes, fences, etc

i've had deer turkeys and ducks so close i could touch them. i've also had hunters walk up to me, and never had a clue i was there. just beware if barbed wire!
