"Radical Rattling"
I am not sure ifeveryone got the issue of North American Whitetail this last month or not, but there was a very interesting read in there about a new rattling trick. I am not going to explain it intensely, but enough to understand.
It was a story about how a guy could onl get the bucks so close because he was high in a tree and in thick pines and brush, so he tried rattling a new way. He took his bowstring (the string you hoist your bow up with) and tied his antlers to them and dropped them to the ground and would pull them up and down, tapping them on the ground periodically. He said that he wouldnt get busted because the deer would be more curious because the sound would be from the ground instead of 20-30 ft in a tree [&:]. This is a pretty neat idea in my opinion, have you heard/ tried this? Logically, it should work better tha staying in the tree... Any opinions or thoughts about it?
