I was given a crossbow by my son for Father's Day. He told me the doctor informed him that it could take up to two years to get as good as it was going to get. I was touched that he knew how much I love to hunt and purchased me an expensive crossbow, but I always felt in my heart that using a crossbow was like calling in an air strike to get a single coyote. I did go as far as having the scope removed and peep sights installed on it to make it somewhat more fair....but still it feels like shooting a rifle.
