Default RE: Easy First Kills

Its not just about the kill.....The work involved may make for a quick season, I know there are months of prep before season that may pay off....Thats what makes it special, not to mention the time spent with friends and such.

Deer season, or any season for that matter can be an awesome year even if nobody shoots a thing. Its about the times and the memories...and a whole lot of BS- ing!

I sat in the woods with a stick for 3 years and finally got to hunt with a gun. Sat for 3 whole days sun up to sun down to get my first doe and at 12 years old thats a long time.

My dad who has been hunting for 20 years now has killed 3 deer total, and he comes back year after year for this stuff, not to mention to see us, his kids succeed at what he taught us.
I just passed him up on the total number of deer killed this month with a total of 4 and i have been hunting forunder 10years. All but one of those deer--this years deer-- Have been off of stands which he helped to pick out.

Our success is his success!

Just my two cents.
