I am currently on my 4th season since taking my last deer/doe. I had one 11 yards shot with bow at a doe on bow opening weekend, but missed (yes 11 yards). I have usually been able to see deer, but most of the time just didn't have a shot (like a 100 yards away with bow). Hunting is not easy, no matter what some people may say/think. If it was easy, like golf, I would probably quit as well. Some people just get lucky for good stretches, but slow times will eventually get everyone at some point.
